Going to Galway
EuropeAfter last-minute plans fell through to visit the Aran Islands, we decided instead to make our way to Galway. We got the pleasure of retracing some of our route through the Burren from yesterday, until we passed Ballyvaughan. Then the road quickly became overrun with motor vehicles.
My mood quickly changes when cars are passing me at a rate of one per second. The rest of the ride was a blur until we reached Galway. In Galway we rode on a cycle path to our caravan park for the night. On the path we passed a guy trying to start a giant fan strapped to his back. He had a parachute spread out on front of him. Maybe a minute later Carrie pointed to the same guy flying over Galway Bay. How he was flying didn’t make sense but there he was high in the sky puttering along at the same pace as us.
