Florac

Tired after four days of hot and strenuous riding, we needed a rest day. But instead of staying in Pont-de-Montvert, we rolled down river for about 20km to Florac.

At around noon we arrived at the almost empty campground outside of Florac. Now that children are back in school, we’ve noticed a significant decrease in campground populations. That’s great for us. It means that lately we’ve been able to find a pitch far enough from others so we aren’t disturbed as much by their late night antics, which really means talking after 9:30pm.
