Despite the long distance we travelled, we had a wonderful day on the bikes. Here’s how the day went down using photos and captions:
This appears to be a nice lake in the mountains. In fact, it’s a fjord at sea level.South of Namsos, we rode through a tunnel on the old road. Cyclists aren’t allowed through the new tunnel. The old roads provide a respite from traffic.After the old road tunnel we came upon this lovely picnic spot, where we had a snack and found mouthfuls of…Raspberries!After eating fresh berries, a rainstorm provided a double rainbow.So we rode along enjoying a sun shower and a splendid rainbow.
